We’re happy to announce the winners of the 2021 essay contest!

The question the fourth and fifth graders were asked to answer was:

COVID-19 has caused a lot of changes in the way you are learning this year. What changes has your school made that you think were the most creative and helpful, and would you like continued when the pandemic is over?

There were 60 entries, 31 judges, and the decision was not easy!

The judges were very impressed overall by the thoughtfulness, seriousness (with the right amount of expected cheekiness from nine and ten year olds) and compassion expressed by the students – not to mention how much they like having math first thing in the morning and even wish it were a bit longer!

We extend our congratulations to the students and their teachers for teaching them well!
