The Program Director is responsible for managing program resources to fulfill Goochland Education Foundation’s mission in accordance with priorities, time and budget requirements.
Description of Work
This position is part time (5 to 10 hours per week), during the school year, between late August through early June.
The Program Director is responsible for performing work of an administrative, managerial, and collaborative nature under general supervision from the Executive Director. The goals, objectives and deliverables of this position will be defined by the Executive Director, by the mission of the program, and through the source(s) of funding for the program.
The Program Director will work collaboratively with the Goochland County Public Schools program staff to ensure that the goals and objectives of the program are accomplished. Specifically, the Program Director will administrate and manage the various GEF programs from initiation to completion and follow-up reporting. This includes, but not limited to collecting and distribution of forms/applications, etc; data entry; communication with volunteers and staff; tracking data; and arranging small events related to various programs.
Skill in leading and collaborating with the program teams and partners. Proficient at using technology and Microsoft programs. Proficient at managing budgets. Highly organized, able to meet deadlines. Able to apply a high level written and oral communication skill. Self-motivated and able to work independently. A firm understanding of the mission of the Goochland Education Foundation.
$25/hour, with an annual cap
