GEF Provides Eclipse Glasses for Students & Staff

The Goochland Education Foundation (GEF) teamed up with the Goochland Chamber of Commerce  to provide eclipse glasses for all students and staff of Goochland County Public Schools to safely watch the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8th.

The GEF is thrilled to provide public school students experiences others cannot. While other localities closed early or altogether, or kept students inside, Goochland students got to experience the amazing phenomenon of the solar eclipse. The strong relationship of GEF and the Goochland County Public Schools makes extraordinary things happen for our children. We could not have done this without the partnership with the Goochland Chamber of Commerce.

Support Goochland’s children by making a donation to the GEF.
