Ready to bring that amazing learning idea to life? We’ve made it ridiculously simple – just share your idea and we’ll handle everything else!
You know that incredible hands-on activity you’ve been wanting to share with kids? That cool skill, fascinating topic, or creative project that would be perfect if you just had the right venue and resources? Stop dreaming and start doing! We provide the materials, the venue, and handle all the logistics. You just bring your passion and expertise.
Here’s How Easy It Is:
- Tell us your idea (seriously, just describe it – no formal application!)
- We buy all the supplies
- (Optional): You facilitate it at our after-school program
- Watch kids have those amazing “aha!” moments
Your 15-Minute Idea Becomes Reality:
One activity, two age groups (K-2 AND 3-5). That hands-on learning experience you’ve been wanting to try – adapted so little ones explore through discovery while older students dive deeper into critical thinking. Same core concept, differentiated naturally.
What We Provide:
- All materials purchased for you – No spending your own money
- Ready-made venues – Byrd Elementary, Goochland Elementary, and Randolph Elementary
- Eager students – Kids who WANT to be there
- Structured schedule – Same activity at all three schools each week
- Pure learning joy – No grades, no testing, just sharing your passion!
- Background check required – We’ll guide you through the simple process (volunteer pays for background check)

Time Commitment: 4.5 hours per week for 6 weeks – You’ll present your activity at all three schools each week (45 minutes K-2 + 45 minutes grades 3-5 at each site: Byrd Elementary, Goochland Elementary, and Randolph Elementary)
Getting Started is THIS Simple:
